Stop-start city driving leaves carbon in the fuel system, and the ethanol in pump fuel pulls in water. Throttle response goes dull, and both power and fuel economy suffer.

VP Racing Power Booster (the red bottle) is a multi-purpose gasoline additive that works as you drive: it raises octane by up to 3 points, and its fuel catalyst suppresses idle knock and pre-ignition for an average gain of about 5% in power and torque. At the same time it cleans the fuel system at high temperature, deals with ethanol's water absorption and cuts emissions.
